If the Editor-in-Chief or an Associate Editor of the Saba Research Journal has invited you to review a manuscript, please consider the following:
- Evaluate the manuscript critically yet constructively, providing detailed comments to assist the authors in improving their work.
- If necessary, review multiple versions of the manuscript.
- Provide all required information within the specified deadlines.
- Offer recommendations to the editor regarding the manuscript's suitability for publication in the journal.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest concerning the authors or the content of the manuscript to the editor.
- Report any suspected research misconduct.
- Suggest alternative reviewers if you are unable to evaluate the manuscript for any reason.
- Treat the manuscript as a confidential document.
- Refrain from using the ideas described in the manuscript.
- Avoid direct contact with the authors, should their identity become known.
- Do not reveal your identity to the authors.
- Do not delegate the review to another individual.
- Ensure that the manuscript is of high quality and represents an original contribution.
- Notify the editor if you are aware that the manuscript is under consideration at any other publication.
- Write the review report in English only.
- Prepare comments intended for publication in relation to the reviewed manuscript, if requested.
